I started at Adesis as a bench chemist in 2006 and now oversee all chemistry operations, a team of 90 chemists and 20-30 ongoing client projects. My background includes over 32 years of technical and managerial responsibilities in drug discovery, animal health, and crop protection at American Cyanamid, Fort Dodge Animal Health (Wyeth), and FMC.At Adesis we partner with and support the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biomaterials and catalysts industries. We provide expertise in custom synthesis, research and development, and specialty manufacturing. We help clients accelerate their research and manufacturing goals.Complicated chemistry challenges find their way to Adesis. We are one of the few companies in the world that can turn a difficult whiteboard chemistry concept into a physical product. The variety of our clients’ portfolios, combined with the variety of chemistry we see daily, make our work environment extremely dynamic and interesting. The intensity at a CRO is much higher than at a research-based company because we’re client-oriented and must deliver compounds to clients quickly. With our wide diversity of chemistry expertise – from recent graduates to those with several decades of experience, we can offer our clients access to a broad skillset to resolve their chemistry problem.
