Lead Software Engineer for embedded system software for radio frequency communication systems for surface and airborne terminals. The Software Lead engineer is the technical lead and the Control Account Manager, responsible for all software components deployed on the communication system, from the requirements phase to system integration and delivery. I also developed software for multiple components of communication systems including: System Controllers, Multiplexers, Modems, Frequency Converters, Radio Frequency Equipment and Antenna Controllers. I developed specific designs to comply with pre-defined customer requirements. I produced documentation for Preliminary and Critical design reviews and presented these to internal management and to customers. I developed Software Development Plans, Software Requirements Specifications, Software Design Documents, Unit Test Procedures, and Basis of Estimate documents.
