As a senior advisor at Forbes Mergers & Acquisitions, he provides middle-market merger and acquisition and capital raising transaction advisory services in markets that include oil and gas, renewable energy, mining, technology, manufacturing, entertainment, and financial services.In 1996, John established Global Capital Group to represent owners selling their businesses and assist early-stage energy and technology companies with financing and business development. He led investment banking and M&A transactions ($5 to $100 million) in such industries as heavy construction, gourmet food service, public safety, and entertainment. Prior to that time, he spent 20 years at Phillips Petroleum Company in senior financial and management positions for operations in the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
