My time at GGP has taken a varied and diverse role since joining in 2011.My roles have included project management, lead designer, estimator, architectural technician amongst others. My clientele in this time has been vast and included Allam Marine, the NHS, Citycare / Shared Agenda, Wickes, Smiggles and many more.Highlight thus far has been the lead design and project management role I undertook for the new GGP HQ in 2015/2016.

During my highly enjoyable time at this company I progressed in great strides, in no small part to well respected city Architects, Mark Morgan, Gaz Dennis and Will Jones. While working on projects such as Wilberforce College, Manor School, Archbishop Holgates School amongst others I was responsible for the projects adhering to British Standard documents, design of features and crucial detailing of all aspects of the built environment. Also during my time I was a member of the team to standardize the office network, file system, drawing procedures & operations helping the company to be awarded its ISO 9001 audit every year. In addition to the above I was responsible for the maintenance of a small network.

Working in Civil team at Alan Wood & Partners I gained crucial experience in alldrainage design aspects, Site & topographical surveying, liaising with clients,preparation of drawings and calculations for all projects, maintaining and overseeing ofdrawing changes, and training of junior staff members. This was all put into practice ona number of high profile projects such as Bartoline Ltd, Hull University, Barratt Homes,Other experience includes. In addition to my responsibilities detailed above was alsoresponsible for the maintenance of the company network across all four sites, purchaseof IT materials, the design and maintenance of the company’s backups and datarecovery system.

During my three years at Lohan & Donnelly my responsibilities included production ofstructural and civil drawings, liaising with company clients, production of companybrochure, overseeing the standardisation of drawings and training junior staff. Projectsworked on were large numbers of residential developments nationwide, a number ofhigh profile hotels, nightclubs & public houses in Dublin’s City Centre, . IT dutiesincluded maintaining small network and purchase of computer and network materials.
