As a result this division drove tremendous profits by leveraging our roster of artists including The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, Janet Jackson, Lenny Kravitz, Snoop Dogg and a wide variety of musicians. I was responsible for finding new accounts and growing sales with existing customers. I doubled the sales in my territory in the first year growing business with Readers Digest and Handleman Entertainment. I created new custom compilations for customers like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Zany Brainy toy stores. I was particularly proud of a campaign with H&M clothing stores where they helped sponsor our record release party for Kylie Minogue (a former H&M Model). I persuaded them to sell both her CD and the soundtrack to "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy". 20 count CD display units were placed by registers and it was the first time H&M had ever carried CDs. While those two CDs had only moderate sales for the company, H&M sold through 90% of their inventory and ended up representing 5% of the total sales for both titles combined through the first year of release. -

This account had previously averaged $20,000 a year before I worked with them.
