Vice President, Internal Auditor
Current- Audit the company’s internal controls in order to decrease risk of material deficiencies that could impact financial reporting, comply with state regulatory requirements and improve efficiencies. - Act as a company liaison with external auditors when assigned; provide internal audit assistance and documentation as possible.- Assist with continued development of required written operational control plans including but not limited to anti-fraud plans, cybersecurity strategy plan and customer appointment and licensing handbook to ensure both processes and documentation meet all state requirements.- Lead a small, specialized team in providing essential surplus lines tax filings, ensuring that tax filings are completed timely and accurately.
