Hi, I'm John Colucci, a digital storyteller who's worked in retail, aviation, tourism, health, tech media, local broadcast media and telecom.After a rewarding career in store and corporate roles at Old Navy, I joined Virgin America first in a project management role and then a brand social media role. I went on to do some consulting work and then joined Engadget as their first engagement editor. It was there that I got my dream assignment: an interview with Cookie Monster! I went on to lead social media strategy for Sinclair Inc., where my team and I worked with station leadership across 100+ local TV stations on producing news content for social; training hundreds of talent & creators to better utilize social for storytelling, and managing the social ad process for on-air promotion. While there, I also contributed to a college textbook focusing on journalism in the digital age. I then joined FOX and oversaw digital teams for FOX 5 DC and FOX 29 Philadelphia, and revamped their newsroom processes with a focus on SEO, YouTube, and OTT (and also figuring out how to make TikTok work for local news audiences). I also appeared on-air occasionally and was part of an Edward R. Murrow award winning podcast team.In 2024, I joined T-Mobile in a contract role covering a maternity leave for the social media lead overseeing the Metro by T-Mobile brand. This role covers paid, organic and creator social content promoting the leading brand in prepaid wireless!
