These include design, procurement, configuration and implementation of surveillance related sub-technologies including analog cameras, digital cameras, HD/megapixel cameras, power video and data over cat6 and Videowalls, etc. Videowall designs included eight, 70" HDTV 1080p monitors fed by over 10 workstations simultaneously providing a 15' x 6' display canvas of many real-time camera feeds to surveillance operations personnel. Designed and implemented world's largest digital video system in 2009 consisting of 1.5 petabytes of NAS iSCSI storage recording real-time video from over 1700 cameras via a fully-redundant 10 Gigabit network infrastructure.

Consulted with a number of businesses in Sonoma County for the design and implementation of various network topologies. Network equipment included various Cisco switches and routers, NT 4.0 servers and workstations, Novell 4.x/3.x file servers, DSL/ISDN/Frame Relay WAN connectivity, 10/100base-T, 100base-FX and Gigabit Ethernet.

Design corporate-wide standards for Netware Directory Services, maintain servers as required. Coordinate and implement Netware 3.x to 4.11 and Windows NT/95 worldwide corporate migration. Develop a common standard for object naming in NDS and optimize NT and Netware communications based on network infrastructure and WAN design. Provide level three worldwide corporate support. Implemented ManageWise 2.x worldwide. Support includes OS2 v3x, Win95, WinNT 3.51/4.0, Dos/Windows, NAL, Netware 32bit clients, X-windows, FTP and Web services. Configure and update DNS services on SPARC stations and IOS on Cisco 2500/4000--series routers. Token-Ring and Ethernet 10/100 LAN topology. Responsible for PC/LAN departmental intranet design using NCSA and Novell HTTPd services; corporate-wide backup using Arcserve 6 for Netware and NT. Installed and configured Procom CD towers, Lotus Notes, Netware NFS/Unix Print Svcs, Storage Dimensions RAID arrays.

Configuration and Installation of NT server utilizing DHCP, TCP/IP, and WINS services for 300 clients, Linux DNS server and TIS Firewall implementation. Administration of Netware 3.12 servers. Recabled Devry's computer lab infrastructure with Cat 5.

Deploy sales automation force hardware and software on a Novell 3.1x network; hardware includes HP NetServers, Microcom rack-mounted 28.8 modems and EISA Digiboards to support modem connectivity to Windows NT Server; also utilize cc:Mail Router. Maintained network, support end-users and troubleshoot as required. Installed nationwide 800 line, using Windows NT Remote Access Server. Researched and recommended optimum hardware platform for domestic and international E-mail server. Ethernet LAN topology.Additionally installed and configured Meridian CD-ROM servers on network backbone for corporate-wide infobases, and consolidated Novell file servers to reduce maintenance cost and to optimize disk space.

Assisted in administration of networks (between 700 to 1,200 workstations) during corporate relocations. Projects such as Aurora Insurance Co. included PC, Compaq, Macintosh and Sparc stations; cabling consisted of UTP, coax and fiber. Performed quality assurance on peripherals including modems, printers, and SCSI devices. Ensured LAN connectivity and operability.
