About John Coote

Over 15 years of experience working in or for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) Head Office on process and equipment transformation and change programmes. During this time I was the UK and MOD lead on the Nimrod and Airborne Stand-off Radar (ASTOR) aircraft procurement negotiations and multinational programmes involving NATO and EU HQs, and the US Joint Forces Command.Prior service as a navigator on Vulcan and Nimrod aircraft with MSc-level studies on aircraft systems and flight testing. Project leadership of aircraft mission systems software leading to a personal achievement award and an MBE.Extensive overseas work has included 4 months in Iraq, 6 months in the Falkland Islands and 3 years in the USA.Specialties: Transformation and change programme definition and leadership.
