In my previous role, I worked alongside the transport manager, assisting with the scheduling of the driver's jobs, answering incomming telephone calls and emails. My weekly tasks involved, seeking new customers by visiting their construction sites and introducing myself and the services of UBU Environmental. I assisted in maintaining the database of vehicles, ensuring they were kept up to date for 6-weekly inspections, servicing, tax and MOT dates were noted on the relevant systems.My previous role required me to use multiple applications within Microsoft Office, mainly focusing on Outlook and Excel as well as working on a bespoke transport management application.

I covered multiple contracts with sites across the North of England. My main responsibilities included, raising work orders for clients, issuing purchase orders, chasing in house engineers and subcontractors and issuing quotations, following our clients individual requirements.Part of my role included scheduling our in house engineers across 3 regions for our clients, as well as ensuring all subcontractor engineers are booked in with our client prior to their arrival. As a member of the helpdesk, we routinely reviewed our active and assigned tasks and ensure on a daily basis these are reviewed to ensure all reactive callouts and ppms are completed within their assigned SLAs.Communication is key in this role, not only did I effectively communicate internally with the team and the senior management teams but also with our clients, ensuring a swift response is provided to each request either with a phone call or an email response.

This role required me to perform daily checks on the vehicle I was assigned to, ensuring the vehicle is road worthy and meets the legal requirements for passengers to travel on the vehicle.I was responsible for planning the routes from pick up to the destination and ensuring, if required, the route avoided major hazards for the vehicle, such as, low bridges or weak bridges. I was required to take payment off passengers when performing service bus routes as well as providing excellent customer service to each individual.

My daily duties included, receiving and replying to emails from the stores, I would triage all repair requests, log them to a designated contractor, advising the contractor of the required SLA and the required trade person with all the correct job information. I would note all information into a spreadsheet and provide a weekly report to the relevant stakeholders. This role required me to liaise with multiple departments within the head office to ensure each stakeholder was kept up to date on reactive jobs and capital expenditure works planned within each store.

Whilst at Integrated Dental Holdings (now My Dentist), I took on a new role. I worked within the facilities department, on the second line team, receiving calls from the first line team for urgent repair works causing a loss of revenue for our dental practices. I would triage reactive repair requests sent via email, raise purchase orders and assigned designated contractors, advising the contractor of the required SLA. I worked within a team of 6 people and I was responsible for 100 dental practices around the North West and Midlands. My role required me to raise purchase orders, review invoices and ensure they matched the contracted rates for each contractor. I was also required to project manage capital expenditure requests from start to finish, ensuring all shareholders where fully informed throughout the process.

My role involved contacting company owners and directors who expressed an interest in seeking a valuation and potential sale of their company. My role was to build rapport, effectively question and objection handling my first point of contact of the company I was contacting. Once I was able to build a relationship, I would secure an in person appointment with our in house valuation experts to allow for a full valuation and sale of their company.

As part of my role was to assist drivers along a predetermined route to load and unload the delivery vans. I assisted in the cleaning and maintaining of the in store standalone units ensuring they were kept presentable to a very high standard. I would assist with the removal of the products from the previous day and stock the units with fresh products. My main duty was to review the location of the standalone units and speak with the senior management in order to ensure the units were located in high footfall areas of the store. I would provide feedback to the in store senior management to provide potential improvements to locations and advertisements within the units.

While I was employed at Swinton Insurance, I was assigned to work on the inbound 7 Day Insurance campaign. I would receive inbound calls from customers who recently purchased a vehicle through selected car showrooms to set up a free 7 day insurance policy. I was targeted to convert customers from the free 7 day policy on to a 12 month paid policy through Swinton Insurance. Throughout the phone call I would build rapport with the customers, pay attention to key details provided to me while completing the free Insurance policy and effectively handle all objections and refusals given. I was able to offer certain discounts to each customer depending on the policy and additional services they chose alongside their insurance policy.
