I helped to implement the Genesis workflow system for the Pearl Group Pensions administration team, by developing the “as is” individual, group and company pension processes.

I established the Elixir Group Risk Finance business requirements and design for Legal and General, running Finance, Reinsurance, Medical Underwriting and Renewals and Rate Review workshops at Kingswood.

I recruited to expand the product development and engineering teams for an employee benefit website service. I worked with a new HR consultancy client to scope and specify requirements for two product releases, providing flexible benefits and group pension functionality.

I helped to stabilise and develop the ALIS Group Risk product at Unum, running a team of 6 business systems analysts and developers. We delivered reinsurance treaty, claims system integration, earned income reporting, ICOB and A-day changes in a series of releases.

I led a small analysis team undertaking a review of the business and application design of Underwriter Café, a collection of insurance application components for personal and commercial lines. We changed the product to support larger commercial lines, and link with POLARIS.

I managed a team of 5 developers developing a Credit Insurance website and providing a hosting service for the Lloyds Underwriting Agent, AON CIFS. We helped CIFS enter the European credit insurance market by introducing multi currency and enhanced credit risk monitoring facilities.

I was appointed to create and implement an IT programme to meet a tight Heath MBO timetable. I reported to the FD, with a total IT budget of c. £2M pa during the 1998/99 period. The programme successfully established new IT infrastucture and applications for Opus.

I was responsible for IT within C E Heath (UK): systems development, operations and FM support with a team of 12 staff. We supported the branch network selling commercial and personal lines insurance, risk consultancy, and personal and corporate financial services & advice.

I had project manager and consultant roles working for CE Heath (UK), Sedgwick James and the CLMI (Commercial Lines Market Initiative). These included developing and implementing IFA administration, general insurance broking and claims software for 25 Heath UK branches.

I was headhunted to define the user requirements for the software, design and support of the ADVISA personal financial advice product, launched in September 1987. Initially targetted on the IFA market, the product was subsequently extended to direct sales forces.
