CurrentProvided ownership and overall continuous improvement in areas directly related to the environmental department. Key responsibilities include discharge monitoring reports, Martin Lake Dam inspections / surveys, solid waste, monthly drinking water samples for Net Health, potable water samples, storm water inspections and surveys, spill prevention control and countermeasure inspections, and combustible coal residual inspections-CCR. Take leadership in SWPPP / SPCC plan reviews. Take part in providing maintenance and calibrations on the plants Continuous Emissions Monitoring System. Provide performance data on the plant’s scrubber effectiveness. Take part in chemically treating, moving, and testing water coming in from Martin Lake. Assist in making sure steam created from the water provided to the plant have very little impurities through demineralization and chemical injection. Selected Contributions: Leads plant as the sites go to person for spills and solid waste, by notifying the proper personnel and developing courses of corrective action. Engaged with TCEQ during both the solid waste audit (2021) and stormwater/ wastewater audit (2022). No issues found during these audits. Manage the upkeep and maintenance of all CCR and Non-CCR ponds on site. Manage the upkeep and maintenance of the Martin Lake Dam.
