John C. Scott, Ph.D. is the co-CEO and co-founder of APTMetrics, a global human resource consulting firm that designs sophisticated talent management solutions for corporations and market innovators. Dr. Scott has more than 30 years of experience designing and implementing talent management and assessment systems across various global, high-stakes settings. For more than 25 years, he has directed the talent management and leadership assessment practice at APTMetrics. John has co-edited/co-authored six books and scores of chapters/articles in the field of organizational psychology. In addition to co-editing the award-winning Handbook of Workplace Assessment, he is co-editor of Next Generation Technology-Enhanced Assessment and the recently released book Talent Assessment: Embracing Innovation and Mitigating Risk in the Digital Age. Dr. Scott is a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and the American Psychological Association (APA). He is also a Fellow of APA’s Division 5: Quantitative and Qualitative Methods. He is a recipient of SIOP’s Distinguished Professional Contributions and Distinguished Service Awards and its Humanitarian Award. John is a SIOP Foundation Board Trustee and has previously served as SIOP’s main representative to the United Nations (UN).
