Primary responsibilities: gantry crane operator for launching unmanned, prototype high altitude balloons to provide broadband communication coverage in underserved markets and emergency situations. Site-lead for 11 PFS logisticians, prep specialists,and launch specialists working in partnership with Loon, LLC. Additional responsibilities include vehicle and helicopter recovery of terminated systems and periodic deployment to other prep and launch locations.

Greenland

Varied construction methods and rigging to prepare loads up to 170,000lbs for overland traverse between Thule AFB and Summit Station, Greenland. Steel erection, plastic welding, general construction for the new 3000 sq. ft. Summit Mobile Garage. Traveling contract work with installation of sophisticated meteorological instrumentation, power and fiber optic cabling, and associated infrastructure on National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) towers up to 125 feet.
