Light & Wonder, Inc. (f/k/a Scientific Games Corporation) is a publicly-traded (NASDAQ: LNW) developer of technology-based products and services for the highly regulated global gaming and lottery industries, with annual revenues of $3 billion and over 5,000 employees in 25+ offices worldwide. As the company’s Deputy General Counsel, I lead two global teams of attorneys and paralegals. The first team of five attorneys and six paralegals handles all legal issues for the company's Gaming business unit. The second team of two attorneys and two paralegals handles legal issues for the company and its subsidiaries relating to litigation/risk management, ethics and compliance, labor and employment, data privacy, government relations, and immigration.

I served as lead counsel for Fortune 500 corporations such as Marriott, DuPont, and Ferrari in complex commercial disputes worldwide, and advised in-house counsel and business executives on resolution of disputes and best practices to minimize litigation risk arising from business operations. I also structured, negotiated and drafted complex technology and intellectual property license and settlement agreements.

I represented Fortune 500 corporations (including CSX Corp., Marriott International, Inc., Mercedes-Benz, Maserati, and DuPont) in complex commercial disputes, including nationwide putative antitrust class actions and intellectual property disputes. I served as first-chair trial attorney accountable for all phases of civil litigation, including the preparation of clients’ executives for testimony, other fact and expert discovery, dispositive motions practice, and trials in federal and state courts.

Defended multinational companies in complex commercial disputes, including various patent and antitrust lawsuits.

Assisted Judge Dyk in researching and drafting judicial opinions in appeals from various federal courts and administrative agencies.
