RDI is a new distributor to the RV and Factory Building Structures industry, distributing to the factories “on time every time" because we said we would.

Manage the operations and finances for a multi-line distributor to the RV OEM and Manufactured Housing OEM industries with 8 locations throughout the US. Successfully grew revenues from $140 million to $260 million during this time. Responsibilities include development of both sales and operational staffing, procurement, warehousing, delivery and financial functions nationwide reporting directly to the BOD. Developed the real estate infrastructure to handle additional revenues, managed cash flow and asset based credit lines with banks while maintaining the duties of CFO in addition to CEO.

Managed the accounting and IT staff, directed the implementation of new accounting software (including barcode and RF readers in the warehouses), automated order entry to reduce data entry of sales orders. Developed scanning program to eliminate paper filing thereby streamlining the accounting functions for better, faster data flow and quality of information. These process improvement strategies led to reductions in overtime, increased productivity and an increase in departmental morale and enabling existing accounting staff to handle sales which almost doubled. Filed all state and federal tax filings. Helped the CEO develop company owned warehouses and obtained the financing for warehouse purchases. Worked with the CEO on acquisition of one multi million dollar corporation and the sale of three separate corporate entities.

Managed the overall accounting functions, led the implementation of new accounting software, automated credit card capture to eliminate data entry. Secured real estate and operation loans to secure the purchase of Amoco brand on the west coast of Florida. Streamlined the accounting functions for better, faster data flow and quality of information necessary to manage the corporation effectively. Ensured compliance with external regulatory agencies, motor fuel and trucking.
