Students participated in simulation exercises, including face to face negotiation, negotiation by written correspondence, mediation, and arbitration, including the preparation of settlement documents. Examined relevant statutes, rules of procedure and some current studies on alternative dispute resolution. The goal of the course was the development of both settlement skills and a critical understanding of ADR methods.
