Early in my career, I discovered my passion for helping people. And I found that the best way to do that was to use my analytical reasoning and critical thinking skills to help people work through and solve their problems. Years later, I found myself being drawn to project management where I got to combine these skills with my natural ability to organize teams. There was no looking back!Throughout my professional journey, I’ve managed projects across a variety of industries, demonstrating a knack for enabling teams to efficiently deliver business value. My proficiency in agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban combined with my deep understanding of lean, flow and systems thinking allows me to effectively navigate complex project landscapes by empowering teams to work collaboratively to solve critical issues, optimize workflows and continually improve.One of my career highlights came when I was asked to bring order and structure to one of RealPage's problem management teams. I used value stream mapping to design a streamlined Kanban workflow, transforming the company's technical approach to supporting our clients. In a matter of 6–9 months, we were able to get the team working collaboratively with a common set of agile and technical practices that helped to dramatically increase our throughput, reduce our backlog, and restore client trust.As part of my commitment to continuous learning, I'm a member of Al Shalloway's Amplio Consultants/Educators (ACE) program where I interact with some top notch agile thinkers.
