Responsible for the implementation and oversight of MSD’s Information Governance (IG) Program, making strategic decisions, partnering with organizational executive management, and giving enterprise direction to IG Program staff and employees. Driving the execution of the IG Program in compliance with MSD’s priorities, regulatory and legal requirements, business needs and best practices. Maintain accountability for IG Program goals and objectives and provide expertise on all matters related to IG. Creating and implementing IG training, auditing, revising policies and procedures and striving for process improvements. Currently partnering with IT on Office 365 and leading the following MSD initiatives: Offsite storage, privacy, content analytics, internet/intranet, and enterprise content management.

Implemented various media formats and adult learning theories to produce both on-line and in person RIM training for all employees of The Boeing Company. Performed global RIM oversight and management to ensure RIM compliance. Applied RIM strategy based on strategic workforce planning. Conducted RIM assessments, audit and litigation support to measure compliance. Collaborated with IT on RIM implementation of electronic records lifecycle management. Boeing volunteer activities included: • New Employee Orientation Facilitator—St. Louis Site Lead Conducted new employee orientations and leading teams of facilitators with the goal to provide the best new hire experience for our future leaders. Served as the Boeing Midwest and Northeast Subject Matter Expert.• REACH President REACH is the company’s number one organization for employee engagement, career development, and community service. Extensive collaboration with internal/external stakeholders, high paced project development, meeting deadlines and providing first-time quality along with the goal of exceeding customer expectations. Trained and mentored future leaders of The Boeing Company. This position entailed leading a 30 person leadership team in a 2300 member organization. In 2016, over 100 events were provided for Boeing employees and their families.

Served under the Defense Environmental Restoration Program for Formerly Used Defense Sites (DERP-FUDS). Conducted research to determine the potential of unexploded ordnance and/or chemical weapons still remaining in lands once owned or leased by the Department of Defense (DoD). Duties included: procuring and analyzing data, project management, conducting interviews with military and civilian officials, performing site investigations and submitting findings to agency officials. Complex organization skills were required to ensure the success and safety of all parties involved. Excellent analytical skills were needed to determine the location of possible contamination as some sites were thousands of acres in size. Conducted extensive research throughout the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). Other opportunities included representing the Corps of Engineers at conferences and public events. Hundreds of thousands of acres were declared free from contamination and were deemed suitable for public use. (This position required a secret clearance.)

Provided first-time quality customer service and consulting to researchers and led teams that appraised records for their informational and evidentiary value. Conducted an 8,000 cubic foot records inventory project on United States Air Force records. Also served as an Assistant Branch Chief, duties included: performance appraisals, training, evaluations, employee development and engagement, processing awards, disciplinary investigations, and facilitating meetings with union and human resource officials. The NPRC handles approximately 4,000 requests per day from our nation’s veterans. (This position required a top secret clearance.)
