Complete P&L responsiblity for nine major markets within the western and central United States with annual revenues of $118 mil in contract and catalog furniture.
Complete P&L responsiblity for the top income producing division in North America with $292 mil in revenue and over 600 associates. Recognized as Division of the Year for two consecutive years in 2004 and 2005 and received the Buhrmann Global Award for Excellence in 2004.
Complete P&L responsiblity for $194 mil in revenue with 460 associates. Restructured management in all the functional areas and streamlined the operations resulting in a more cohesive team with strategic visibility and focus.
The initial responsiblity was to consolidate the US Office Products business into the Corporate Express system. This involved resturcturing the management team, closing facilities and re-staffing departments. The senior executives of the finance, operations, and information systems reported directly to me.

Consolidated inventories, discontinued unprofitable locations, brought a new facility on line with a $2.2 mil investment and accomplished a full return on investment in 2 1/2 years.
This was a start-up company selling office products, office furniture and related products to business end-users. Acquired and merged four additional companies and sold the company in 1996 to US Office Products.
