The FM contract replaced an existing arrangement, but with tighter cost controls; and the ME sourcing retendered some currently outsourced work but added significant new outsourcing of Sydney Water's M&E maintenance workforce - all in the context of significant budget reductions. Metropolitan Adelaide Service Delivery ProjectITN provided the core project delivery services for the replacement of the Adelaide Water Contract – a 15 year comprehensive (all operations and most capital project activities for metropolitan Adelaide) outsourcing ending in Jun 2011, which on its commencement was the largest outsourcing contract in the global water sector. John Davis has led the ITN team on this engagement, which successfully transitioned on time.
