I got my first taste of global affairs growing up in the Panama Canal Zone under Manuel Noriega's rule, having a front row seat to history during the invasion of Panama, and his subsequent ouster. Even in my youth, I knew the significance of the moment, and the memory was etched in my consciousness. From that point forward, I knew I wanted to be a journalist. I knew from then on how important the task of showing the world pivotal moments that they wouldn't be privy to otherwise without the men and women who risk their lives to enter conflict zones and share with the world what they see. Now more than two decades later, I’m an award winning journalist with over 20 years of global experience as part of CNN International. I bring a knowledge base to the table that is organic and genuine, and that allows me the ability to quickly build communication bridges between the local population and the broader global community.I am a strong communicator, and a solution oriented problem solver. I work well under pressure and tight deadlines. And perhaps most importantly in the global community that increasingly knows no boundaries, I am able to easily adjust my communication style in respect to cultural differences and nuances. My fresh perspective allows me to deliver results that are impactful and elevate the narrative because of the creative edge I bring to the table. Above all, I am a team player, and I thrive on being part of a diverse, energetic, fast paced environment that constantly strives to innovate, create, and perhaps most important of all--- to make a difference.
