I am responsible for user support for the COS and STIS Instruments on board the Hubble Space Telescope, calibration and monitoring of the instruments. I also spend half my time on research, including programs on scattered light imaging of dusty disks and the fate of planetary systems during the end stages of stellar evolution.

I study the evolution of circumstellar dust and planetary systems from the beginning of star and planet formation all the way to the stellar graveyard. My work includes looking at the composition of young circumstellar disks through studies of scattered light, as well as studying nearby white dwarfs that have been polluted with metals to determine how planetary systems survive post main sequence evolution
