I also help people wanting to buy a business.I was a business broker for over 10 years after going through the sale process of my own training and development business in 2006. I now coach and advise other business owners on how to exit their businesses with equity in the shortest possible time and with the least stress. I do this as a one-on-one coaching process, through seminars and workshops and as a mentor to a cohort group of business owners called Business Owners Taking Action. As president of the WBA my role was to ensure the WBA fulfilled its role of keeping members informed of factors that may affect their business, running networking events to facilitate business to business arrangements between members, liaising with The City of Wanneroo and the State Government to being a voice for members. Also the WBA facilitates strategic partnerships and effective representation at all levels.

Set up Streetsmart Business Builders with long time friend Mal Emery, to work with business owners to help them build their businesses and prepare them for sale or to provide them with a better lifestyle. Services included one on one coaching and mentoring group workshops. Having sold our LMA business through Performance Business Sales (PBS) I continued the relationship with PBS to appraise my coaching clients' businesses. The natural progression for me after 2 years was to become a registered business broker working through PBS, so that I could take clients from the 'building' phase right through to the actual sale. That happened in June 2008.

These programs included sales, management development, effective leadership, frontline management, personal productivity and more.
