Currently serving as a Maintenance Supervisor for a Heavy Transportation Company, comprised of more than 300 pieces of various types of trucks and trailers valued at over $30 million . Recognized for:1) Saved the Army more than $400 thousand in annual repair costs by turning in more than 60 pieces of rolling stock (trucks, associated trailers, and generators from 2.5KW to 15KW) to have them removed from the Army inventory.2) Inspected by the 3 highest levels of command and commended for operating a safe and extremely well run maintenance operation. 3) Trained personnel on proper troubleshooting techniques resulting in less money spent to repair vehicles saving the Army more than $35 thousand. 4) Managed the completion of 51 Safety of Use Messages(vehicle recall deficiencies) in a timely manner on 51 new vehicles resulting in a safe and ready vehicle fleet.5) Served as the supervisor to push more than 50 vehicles and associated trailers for a mission deployment fixing all maintenance deficiencies in under 48 hours.

Bagram Air Field Afghanistan

Managed the Humanitarian Relief Yard supporting the government of Afghanistan with disaster relief; Responsible for yard operations, management of more than $30 million of Humanitarian Aid Supplies, processing aid requests, and arranging all logistical transport1) Supervised 7 local Afghan contract workers, ensuring they were properly badged, had transport to and from work daily, and calculated monthly work hours for pay2) Efficiently submitted more than 50 movement requests of Humanitarian Relief totaling over $1million that supported over 35,000 Afghani civilians3) Discovered over $245 thousand worth of expired and contaminated items by instituting inventories which prevented public relations incidents and terrorist attacks against Bigram Air Field.4) Provided maintenance support for all Humanitarian Yard equipment which included but was not limited to: 1 10K ATLAS forklift, 1 John Dear M-GATOR (side by side UTV), 2 Diesel pickup trucks; 1 Diesel Ford Ranger and 1 Diesel TATA truck; also provided onsite maintenance support as needed for local national Afghan semi trucks as needed.

Supervised more than 500 personnel, providing for all logistics and training; Planned and organized training events, maintained the Army’s training database DTMS (digital trainingmanagement system)1) Provided planning and logistical support for a Live Fire Exercise, ensuring that more than 200 personnel received convoy training, field rations, more than 300 gallons of fuel and over 100 thousand rounds of ammunition. 2) Supervised more than 500 US and Afghan Local National Linguists providing them with 3 separate contracts for food, housing, and quality of life programs. Supplied military protective equipment valued at over $2 million, across 7 provinces in the northern Afghanistan.3) Provided government/military contract oversight on 3 Flour contracts valued at more than $30 million while deployed to Afghanistan ensuring all specifications of the contracts were met in a timely manner and that the contractor (FLOUR) was contract compliance4) Trained more than 40 personnel at all leadership levels in the use and functions of DTMS (Digital Training Management System). Served as the Battalion level supervisor ensuring compliance with Army Regulation, making sure that all training records for more than 300 personnel were complete and current setting new standards in utilization of DTMS across the 10th Mountain Division.

Supervised more than 10 personnel in vehicle recovery operations, electrical and mechanicaltroubleshooting, and mechanical repairs on more than 454 pieces of diverse equipment i.e.(trucks, trailers, generators, wreckers, cranes, and medical equipment)1) Maintained a 96% equipment readiness rating while deployed to Iraq with severely restricted parts supply.2) Volunteered to maintain an additional 40 pieces of equipment for a partner unit that deployedwithout maintenance personnel.3) Trained and mentored more than 10 personnel on proper troubleshooting procedures and vehicle recovery and self-recovery operations.

Worked as a diesel mechanic providing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on more than 100 pieces of military equipment to include but not limited to trucks, tracked combat vehicles, generators, trailers, construction equipment and small engine repairs.1) Hand picked over 7 senior candidates to serve as a maintenance supervisor for a newly created unit; built shop from the ground up with all tools, equipment, and shop stock valued at over $7.5 million while in Germany.2) Educated in supply economy and budgetary maintenance by managing more than 100 vehicle and assorted equipment in a fully mission capable status while staying within a $10 thousand per quarter budget for over 1 1/2 years.3) Handpicked to provide technical inspections on 15 vehicles deploying as part of a communications package. 4) Volunteered to serve as the tool room custodian; responsible for more than $200 thousand in special tools and shop equipment. Maintained the tool truck and parts/shop stock trailer with a fully mission capable status of 95%. Achieved best tool room of the Battalion more than 7 months in a row.
