After becoming Production Manager in May of 2012, I was responsible for developing new studio-wide systems for tracking projects and artist scheduling, and initiated more thorough dissemination of project information and communication among project team members. Productions included Sesame Street's "Elmo the Musical", a series of fourteen, 11-minute episodes for which Magnetic Dreams utilized artists in 2 separate teams working on alternating episodes concurrently, supplying green-screen removal, 3D animation, and compositing with the live-action puppets.As an animation director, I wrote, designed, directed, and animated on numerous projects using traditional cel and computer animation techniques for all types of broadcast media, including direction and management of the studio's largest animated project, Sesame Workshop's "Elmo's Alphabet Challenge", a home video with over 40 minutes of animation. Other clients included the Tennessee Titans, Dell, Marvel Comics, and the Armed Forces Network.

Developed new curriculum to improve course and expand Maya instruction for the Advanced Animation (3D character animation) and Physics in Animation courses.Improved curriculum based on real-world production experiences for the following courses: Animation II (modeling + rigging 3D characters), Creative Writing and Storyboarding, Audio/Video Techniques, and Broadcast Graphics

After my career in lighting design, I decided to take a hobby I had picked up and start a new career, founding a traditional animation studio providing 2D animation for television commercials, home video projects, music videos, web sites and sports events. Clients included Kroger, Tennessee Titans, C.M.T., Nashville Kats.

Designed lighting systems for architectural projects including offices, residences, churches, shopping malls and the Nashville Airport expansion. Led NASA Research project designing lighting and sunlight delivery systems for proposed lunar base (published in Architectural Record Lighting magazine November 1995).
