About John D. Hamm
Always criss-crossing the line between art and science, I first encountered programming as a junior-high student in the early 80’s (BASIC on a TRS-80, anyone?), and of course quickly turned what I had learned into the beginning of a Battlestar Galactica game using audio from the TV show recorded to a cassette (yes, we used cassette tapes to save our files way back then).Although I have enjoyed careers in architecture, animation, and marketing, I have always felt the need to continually challenge myself and was drawn back to the world of coding and now feel like a kid again (maybe I’ll finish that game!).No matter what job position I’ve held, I’ve always enjoyed the challenge of problem solving, and software development has afforded me that luxury, whether the task is designing an application interface that offers a productive experience for the end-user, or developing the logic and underlying structure behind the scenes to deliver the solution. Please visit my portfolio site for development project examples and more information about me: johndhammcodes.com
