My name is John Dominic Olohan, and I am going into my sophomore year at Purdue University. I am studying Electrical Engineering, and I'm part of the Purdue Electric Vehicles club. Additionally, I am part of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, where I am the Public Relation Chair and External Philanthropy Chair. I spent my summer working as a mover at Gentle Giant Moving Company and as an Electrical Engineering intern for Mott MacDonald in Westwood, MA. My tasks included using AutoCAD to update schematics and proposed electrical plans, performing load calculations on the emergency lighting system in Back Bay Station in Boston, MA, and writing asset management reports for various MBTA facilities in the Greater Boston Area. In high school, I took a dual enrollment computer science class with Wentworth Institute of Technology because I maxed out my school's computer science curriculum. I finished high school as the valedictorian and was the captain of the varsity track team. I am determined, honest, and always make sure to complete each task to the best of my ability. I have a passion for learning and am always open to new opportunities to develop myself as an engineer!
