Service, giving, and lifelong learning are some of my personal joys. But, I find the greatest joy in motivating people to give their time, talent, and treasure to create opportunities for anyone at any age to learn and reach their full potential.I bring these joys to work every day as a nonprofit fundraising and development professional. I am deeply experienced in prospecting for institutional donors and then crafting winning grant proposals to secure funding from government, foundation, and corporate donors. My donor portfolio areas include library capital projects, adult literacy, workforce training, community health, and older adult programming. More recently, I am expanding my skillset to cultivate relationships with individual donors.I enjoy leveraging technology to make my work more efficient and effective, whether it is analyzing census data for a grant proposal using a pivot table or creating a Gantt chart or logic model to summarize a narrative for reviewers. I also possess five years of experience serving as a Salesforce administrator and use Raiser's Edge on a daily basis. My previous professional experience includes serving as a program director for a nonprofit organization that helps older professionals age 55+ give their time and talent to fill critical staffing gaps at schools, nonprofits, and government agencies. In a volunteer capacity, I have also led hundreds of community service projects which include science education for elementary school children and computer literacy training for youth and adults.
