The Resnick Druckman Group merged with WeiserMazars LLP in December 2013. Coordinated and worked on move or disposal of all IT assets of the old firm. Assisted WM IT staff in integration of users, data, and hardware. Continued to support partners and staff in the new environment.

• Responsible for all IT needs of midsize accounting firm (40 users). Supervised 3rd party, application vendor and per diem technicians• Defined specifications and purchased all hardware, software and telecom services. Responsible for annual IT spends of approximately $250,000.00.• Researched, tested and contracted for all IT and telecom services including T1 lines, cable internet, cell phones and data plans, cloud hosting agreements, offsite tape storage and backup• Saved firm 50% on cell phone and data plans by contracting telecom consultant to review existing plans, implemented and monitored account changes and savings• Researched and implemented secure file transfer portals to minimize the risk of personally identifiable information loss• Created remote worker program to enable partners and staff to work from home.• Initiated move of all firm data and applications to data center hosted servers in order to improve security, reliability and disaster recovery.• Contracted 3rd party database application programmers to customize firm metric dashboard software, worked closely with users and developers to ensure quality of finished product• Worked with firm’s clients to troubleshoot data conversion, backup and transfer issues, as well as Quickbooks, Peachtree, and Prosystem fx Tax issues at client sites, reviewed and analyzed clients’ systems and procedures and recommend changes and best practices.• Supported, maintained and worked with vendor tech support for the following criticalapplications:- ThomsonReuters–GoFileroom and FirmFlow- CCH–ProsystemfxTax,Engagement,PracticeManagement , Intuit–Quickbooks,Lacerte- Cloud9–hosted Quickbooks and other applications
