• Designed and implemented a new Xbox warranty calculation system that used business process flow diagrams (written in Visio) to drive a metadata based warranty calculation engine. The new system greatly simplified testing and greatly reduced to production errors that helped lower support costs. • Implemented a novel solution with the Visio 2003 SDK that converted business process flow diagrams directly to metadata. This solution received praise at the director level. • Re-designed error reporting process for the Xbox test server system which involved in-depth analysis of numerous complex stored procedures, VB6 code, a website and historical error and logging data • Worked closely with business and program management to address business requirements in technical specifications

• Designed network solution to provide mobile services to 3G wireless business customers. Solution utilized various Microsoft products (ISA Server 2000, SQL Server 2000, Windows 2K Active Directory, Windows 2K IAS, Windows 2K IIS), Cisco routers and VPN concentrators. • Designed a customized RADIUS process that interfaces with H3G's Nokia GGSN (GPRS Gateway Subscriber Node). Process uses a custom DLL extension to the Windows 2K IAS service, Active Directory and SQL 2000. Solution was tested for high-performance and robustness.• Designed and implemented enhancements to a key software asset (C++) developed at KPN mobile that provides mobile service authorization (ISO layer 3 and 4) and logging services.• Designed a test network and oversaw implementation and integration within the H3G test center.Provided technical guidance for project developers and system engineers.

• Led design and implementation for a web-based mobile service provisioning system.• Designed and implemented an innovative key software component of the network architecture-an Internet Security Acceleration (ISA) server application filter that authorizes user access to mobile TCP/IP services (LDAP/SQL 2000) and logs data usage in a SQL 2000 DB cluster. Solution was patented in the US and EU.• Worked closely with KPN marketing department to develop training materials for third party systems integrators who were selected to install software at customer sites throughout Holland.
