CDFAs specialize in advising their clients about financial challenges that can arise with divorce. This can include dividing property or retirements, splitting the house, and child support issues.

A Certified Divorce Financial Analyst has the training, expertise and certification required to be a financial expert in divorce. Although our team prepares the financial proposals, we often partner with a CDFA® to provide clients with financial review services to review asset allocations with an eye to potential tax liability and future growth. Working with a CDFA® can help clients avoid long term financial pitfalls related to a separation agreement.

I gather and organize statements and documentation to analyze and prepare financial affidavits and property division scenarios.

I will be assisting their clients in my capacity as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® with document preparation, asset division scenarios, pension valuations and support calculations. Additionally, I will be available to clients for post-settlement #financialplanning to help them make sense of the new financial reality.
