My career so far has been an enormous plate-spinning exercise. With an inordinate (and ever-growing) amount of tasks to complete, the only option is to strategize, execute, learn and repeat. Regardless of the results, iterating this process has only strengthened my abilities and character. Having founded my own education start-up, and working in the financial sector, my experiences have made me realise that my passion comes from teaching and learning. Throwing myself head-first into the nitty gritty details, excelling at them and subsequently sharing this knowledge with others, is what keeps me motivated through every working day. In both roles, I was/am the focal point. I pride myself in being both the thinker and the doer, relishing the opportunity to spread my influence across several areas and encounter new challenges. The combination of my problem-solving (I really love puzzles) and ability to develop strong connections with people has allowed me to successfully navigate almost every single challenge. In my personal life, I love the outdoors. Almost all of my fondest memories are outside, whether that be running, hiking or camping. I regularly compete in triathlons, because I love the unique physical and mental challenge that it presents. When I'm not outside, there's not much that can beat a game of chess or a crossword.
