For nearly two decades, I have refined my approach for helping individuals who stutter and professionals who want to reduce their foreign accent. As a speech-language pathologist, I have specialized in both areas and continue to focus nearly all of my professional development on the design and utilization of proven methods which produce the fastest and most significant life changing results.I earned a master's degree in speech-language pathology at Northern Illinois University, am licensed by the State of Illinois, and certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.My work with Speech Therapy Pros is buoyed by my specialized certification with a nationally recognized, evidenced-based accent reduction program, the Institute of Language and Phonology.My passion for helping others improve their speech prompted me to start Speech Therapy Pros, LLC so I could expand my personal efforts by training other speech-language pathologists to employ the same proven methods with the individuals they serve. My dream of serving more has come true since Speech Therapy Pros has consistently grown in the number of speech-language pathologists we employ and the number of individuals we serve each and every year. Although we have continued to expand, our use of evidence-based programs and methods to reduce foreign accent and stuttering have maintained their effectiveness. Individuals who stutter are speaking anywhere, anytime, to anyone with 99% or better fluency.
