I’ve had the great pleasure of working with many of Canada’s most successful NGO brands. I take pride in my ability to develop winning marketing, communications and fundraising strategies that have helped raise well over $200 million in new funding. I've served as Director, Family of Faith Campaign & Special Projects at the Archdiocese of Toronto. The Family of Faith Campaign was Canada’s largest-ever faith-based campaign. I also reorganized and revitalized the Archdiocese of Toronto’s Office for Refugees, Canada’s largest private refugee sponsorship organization. From 2021 onward, a primary focus was Indigenous healing & reconciliation where I was staff lead to distribute $6 million to eligible First Nation, Inuit, and Métis organizations. In 2022 I was the Program and Production Lead for Pope Francis’ visit to Iqaluit, Nunavut, during his pilgrimage to Canada.As VP of Communications & Media Relations at Indspire, the former National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation, I led its comprehensive rebranding. I launched Indspire.ca, dramatically raising Indspire’s public profile. I oversaw all social media, videography/photography, print production, and public/media relations, helping to grow Indspire’s individual giving. I helped secure the federal government’s ground-breaking $10 million investment.At Echo, I helped launch this provincial women’s health start-up agency. I established Echo’s brand identity, public consultation and stakeholder/government relations strategies. At the Ontario Trillium Foundation, I oversaw hundreds of events annually and significantly raised public/media awareness. I led government relations activities and produced an award-winning website and video documentaries.As Director of Marketing at the Toronto Board of Trade, I led its rebranding, created a vibrant new website, increased membership/revenue through innovative partnerships and wrote major speeches. I oversaw the Board’s annual dinner, Canada’s largest business association annual dinner. At Durham College, I served as Executive Director, Communications & Development, helping to secure the Province of Ontario’s creation of Durham’s first University—University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT), now Ontario Tech University.My career began with the Government of Ontario. I worked for the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services, the Ontario Ministry of Education, and the Ontario Heritage Foundation in various communications, marketing, issues management, and government relations capacities.
