• Performed a variety of field work in the Athabasca Oil Sands including logging core, collecting groundwater samples, installing monitoring wells, conducting pumping tests and installing, setting up and collecting data sets from groundwater monitoring equipment. • Provide technical and project management support for a wide range of hydrogeology projects including: Hydrogeological assessments, aquifer feasibility studies and Regulatory groundwater monitoring programs • Work with Project Managers to ensure project deliverables are in line with scope, timelines and budgets • Prepare a variety of technical reports including analyzing, interpreting results and reporting on compiled project data • Perform reliable regional geological and hydrogeological mapping utilizing GIS Mapping tools.

• Worked in the Athabascan basin in Northern Saskatchewan collecting and interpreting field data, logging drill core (including measuring, geochem sampling, photos, etc.) and entering data into our acQuire database.• Provide written/oral presentation of results for our designated drill hole: maps, sections (Geosoft), tables, strip logs (WellCad), etc. as well as, assist project geo in supervision and training of geo-technicians.• Down-hole probing, running high/low flux gamma, televiewer and resistivity probes. Shifting raw data to create readable logs to present to exploration department.

• Supervised a three-man crew with responsibilities of operating controls on Sonic rig floor, job planning, completion and safety compliances of all people on site.• Installed and helped create numerous monitoring wells for water and other contaminants, conducted multiple in-situ tests such as SPT’s, CPT’s and Shelby/piston tube tests.

Worked as a floor hand on a fly rig at Chihong Mines Selwyn Project in the Northern Yukon. Drilled numerous water wells for hydro geology research for the proposed pit.

• Core analysis, marking and packaging of core to be sent back to laboratories.• Duties included anything involving connecting pipe down the well bore, running water lines, communication with helicopter or cat operators during rig moves, as well as general maintenance around the rig.• Taught new recruits importance of safety around the drill rig.• Worked in various locations across Canada from the Yukon, BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Had the opportunity to be taught several different rig mechanics such as Rotary, Sonic and diamond drill rigs.

• Worked on various drill rigs from Triple stacks to Range III Singles.• Duties included rig maintenance, rig set up and tear down along with various floor tasks such as tripping pipe in and out of the bore hole and making connections.

• Assist with operation of drilling rig and support equipment.• Assist In loading and unloading supplies along with on floor work (connections, unloading core, etc.), also upkeep of all rig equipment maintenance, mud mixing and keep safety regulations in order.• Was stationed in Western Australia at various mine sites in the outback while doing exploration drilling on Rotary (RC) and diamond drill rigs.
