The Florida Career Development Association (FCDA) is a professional organization for career development practitioners to connect and collaborate on issues, policies, and practices relating to the delivery and advancement of career services. FCDA is a state division of the National Career Development Association (NCDA).

A key contributor to the NCDA Credentialing Initiative from March 2016 to Sep 2020. In Dec 2016, the Board of Directors of NCDA voted to transform the Task Force on Credentialing (formed March '16) into the NCDA Credentialing Commission. The Commission developed, piloted, launched, and now supports multiple competency-based certifications for practitioners, educators, and supervisors in the career development industry.
