Throughout my career, I have led the communications and public affairs strategy development and execution for organizations from across the healthcare spectrum including major trade associations and one of the nation's largest health services companies. I have worked to advance major public health and wellness initiatives, inform the debate on key policy issues, and navigate through periods of crisis resulting from legislative and legal scrutiny. Notably, for more than a decade, I have had the opportunity to shape and lead my organizations' responses to the most pressing healthcare issues facing the country -- health reform, the opioid crisis and COVID-19. Currently, as the senior vice president of communications and marketing for the Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA), I oversee the organization's external strategy and positioning in support of the pharmaceutical distribution industry. During my tenure, I lead the effort to rebrand the association and also launched HDA's multi-year, multi-channel campaign to communicate our industry's value to key external stakeholders.
