Startup Ignition is a 13-week entrepreneurship startup bootcamp, including actual implementation of learned tools and skills, that prepares entrepreneurs, founders, and teams to properly launch a company and take the right steps towards mitigating risk and increasing success. We enable our students by removing the fluff from a traditional 4-year degree, or other out-dated programs, and delivering an intense and impactful results-driven curriculum.

Worked with general counsel in multiple areas of corporate and intellectual property law, including drafting patents, defending trademarks, auditing corporate records, and drafting software licensing agreements and contracts. Worked on extensive audit and due diligence for successful acquisition by Blackboard, Inc.

Worked on matters for startup clients including business organization, stock purchase agreements, employment agreements, legal research, and compliance.

Worked in the firm’s corporate section. Conducted legal research, wrote office and motion memoranda, and reviewed contracts and documents that covered a wide variety of corporate legal areas including corporate transactions, business organizations, acquisitions, mergers, debt, equity, and venture financing.

Assigned to three different judges (Hon. Bina Chainrai, Hon. Susana Maria D'Almada Remedios, Hon. Esther Toh) over a five week span. Engaged in comparative constitutional and criminal Hong Kong law research and analysis.

Administered the Orem Campus by readying office space for use by ten different startups such as creating an internet-enabled network, private work and meeting environments for each team, and other office related necessities. Created and maintained a new version of BoomStartup's website. Helped implement the program’s curriculum by arranging various speakers and planning meetups, get-togethers, dinners, and other events.

Managed the operations of online recruitment campaigns for Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, Intel, Google, Adidas and Microsoft. Created and optimized search and display ad campaigns across many different publishers (AdWords Search and Display Networks, Facebook, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other independent sites). Researched and implemented the use of various social networking tactics, besides paid advertising, to find qualified candidates for our clients.

Carefully converted clients’ home media to digital format with acute attention to quality and detail. Managed a team of technicians, including scheduling and distribution of assignments. Learned how to meet project deadlines and multitask with different projects.
