I am active in education, research and leadership, continuing to develop new strategies to inform and engage people in today’s changing world. I continue to partner internationally in Haiti and Mexico and see the needs of the world beyond our borders. I have demonstrated organizational leadership including planning events, managing staffs and budgets, ensuring teamwork, and advancing a bold mission and vision. And finally, I have practical skills, such as instructing SCUBA, speaking Spanish, and utilizing AGRRA reef monitoring methods while monitoring Caribbean coral reefs, that make me qualified for my career in marine conservation.
