-Work alongside the Conference Manager for Orientation to serve incoming UA students while on campus for their New Student Orientation.-Manage all administrative and operational tasks involved in running an Orientation residence hall-Create an environment that is friendly, UA knowledgeable, exhibits an appropriate amount of UA spirit, and willing to go that extra mile to welcome our new students and their families.-Assist in the training and supervision of the team of 8 - 12 Orientation Resident Assistants-Oversee administrative processes with regard to check-in and check-out for students and guests.-Serve as the Hearing Officer for any conduct issues that occur in the NSO Residence Hall.

-Assists in supervising overall swimming pool operations;-Assists in supervising and evaluating the lifeguard and water safety instructional staff;-Maintains staff attendance, scheduling, and activity reports;-Conducts mandated training, including but not limited to, rescue skills, in-service training, and physical conditioning;-Monitors and adjusts chemical levels of the pool facility, including maintaining written records;-Supervises cash receipts and cash and attendance records;-Monitors swimming pool area to prevent and respond to emergency situations-May perform rescue and first aid functions;-Enforces pool rules and regulations;-Answers inquiries and provides information to the public regarding pool hours, activities and events;-Supervises pool area, concessions area, bathrooms, and dressing rooms cleaning and maintenance;-Documents accidents and other pool-related incidents according to City requirements-Coordinates and manages special events;-Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with City policies and procedures;-Works in a safe manner and reports unsafe activity and conditions. Follows City-wide safety policy and practices and adheres to responsibilities concerning safety prevention, reporting and monitoring as outlined in the City’s Safety Handbook.

-Assist with the maintenance and supervision of the aquatic facility including the chlorination system-Run aquatic facility including opening, closing and all daily duties-Cash management-Supervise and manage lifeguard staff-Lead and conduct the Junior Lifeguard program-Assist the Assistant and Head Managers wherever possible-Document and address disciplinary actions with lifeguard staff-Work with the management team to provide the best experience possible for workers and patrons while they are at the aquatic facility

Use all internet and computer related communications (i.e., Twitter, Facebook, etc.) in an appropriatemanner.9. Maintain good academic and conduct standing with the University and Residence Life.

-Provide hardware, software, networking, and account assistance to U of A students, faculty and staff.-Extensive experience with Windows and Macintosh operating systems, expertise dealing with virus and spyware problems, advanced knowledge of computer hardware and networking components, and the ability to troubleshoot and support a wide-range of software applications.-Desire to help and share knowledge with clients and co-workers while maintaining a friendly and fun demeanor.
