El Project Management Institute (PMI) (Fund. 1969) es una organización sin fines de lucro con miras a desarrollar, establecer, mantener y difundir en Venezuela el estado del arte en la práctica de la Gerencia de Proyectos, sirviendo de foro a nivel global para el intercambio libre de ideas y estimulando la profesión de la Dirección de Proyectos para lograr la aceptación y reconocimiento de la misma como una disciplina. Control and execution monitoring of build and services, meetings and monitoring reports, set preventive measures for achieve target, warranty costs and quality in the hand over of build and services. • Responsible for maintenance projects of terminals•Technical responsible for all chemical terminals;• Main Results:o Design, logics, configuration and implementation of Complete Automation phases 1 and 2 of Vopak Aratu Terminal, in partnership with Yokogawa Brasil, for main terminal operations with chemicals and flammables, including load, unload of trucks and ships and transfer between tanks (2011);Design, engineering, assembly, installation and operation of a new chemical, flammable and fuel terminal, with 13 tanks in Aratu, BA, Brazil and Design, engineering, build,assembly, installation and operation of a new chemical, flammable and fuel terminal, with 12 tanks in Santos, SP, Brazil , attending all national and international safety standards; all tanks accomplish API 650 and ASME; include nitrogen pressurized atmosphere, fire fighting system according NFPA and 17505 NBR (cooling and foam), vapor recovery system, load and unload platform with loading arm for each tank, pump system to load/unload ship, pipeline to the jetty, tank pits, drain system and spill recovery system , oil separation system, electrical installation according to NBR 10, complete automation (DCS system, Yokogawa - Emerson, interface with SAP) and control system (2010-2011); o Adaptation of existing terminals in order to operate with specific chemical products o Development of Engineering Proposal to expand jetty in Vopak terminals, allowing bigger ship, including Dolphin reinforcement (2009-2010)

• Responsible for engineering and maintenance of the maritime terminal (engineering, planning, maintenance, implementation and construction), • Responsible for the technical development of new business opportunities.• Main Results • Responsible for technical development of new business opportunities;• Main projects:o Engineering, Assembly and Operation of a multi purpose terminal for chemicals and oils, and sulfuric acid terminal including fire fighting system, load and unload platform for trucks, 2 pipelines to the jetty for ship load and unload. Project included HAZOP analysis with specialized third party company (Det. Norske Verita). Engineering in partnership with Chicago Bridge Iron Company, attending all national and international standards and regulations;o Adequacy of Engineering and Maintenance for dry chemicals, chemical powders of the Venezuelan Petrochemical (Pequiven), loading and unloading of ships, storage of chemicals in powder fertilizers, rock phosphate, soda.o Project, design, engineering and construction of a new platform bridge section in Vopak’s private jetty, in order to handle 40.000 ton ship, with 400 m extension over sea, including steel pillars, bridge, Dolphin, Offshore Mooring Systems. Risk analysis HAZOP, environmental impact analysis. Partnership with terminal and jetty specialized engineering company Royal Haskoning, Netherlands (2004-2005);o Rebuild of a 700 m bridge over Vopak’s private jetty platform in Venezuela, allowing 40.000 tons ship docking. Project included concrete pillar rebuild, bridge, Dolphin, environmental impact analysis, HAZOP risk analysis. Partnership with terminal and dock specialized engineering company Royal Haskoning, Netherlands (2004-2006);Development of Maintenance Procedures Standards and Software for chemical and petrochemical equipment and facilities maintenance for all Latin American Vopak’s terminals. Partnership with MP Maintenance Software company (2002-2004);

Responsible for project and Maintenance with dry chemical, chemical powder for Venezuelan petrochemical Pequiven, loading and unloading of ships, storage of dry chemical, trucks loading, fertilizer, phosphate rock, soda etc

• Project Engineer. (outsourcing), Responsible for development and implementation of engineering improvement solutions in several processes at facility plant; main projects:o Construction of additional 700 m jetty for gasoline and fuel 60.000 ton ship, including iron pillars and bridge, Dolphin. Partnership with terminal and dock specialized engineering company Royal Haskoning, Netherlands (2000-2001);o Retrofit of distillation towers –(1997). o Retrofit of Benzene (BTX), Toluene and Xylene units Ano (1999) ;o Stop for refinery maintenance, planning and implementation. (1997)o Pipeline to pump fuel from the Palito refinery to the Yagua distribution center (70 km). Compliance standard applicable national and international oil companies for this type of work. Year (1998-2000). o Engineering and construction of new platforms for loading fuel and gasoline trucks fully automated, with capacity for 10 trucks simultaneously. . (1999). o Installation of marine loading arms for loading and unloading of ships fuel on the jetty bridge. 2000 .
