• Managed two intercontinental projects regarding US/China FDA regulatory hurdles from conception to execution in collaboration with China/US FDA experts, leading to the successful approval of a Chinese cancer drug in the US• Collaborated with 7 cross-border teammates from BofA’s Hong Kong and Japan team and expanded team’s reach to 20 Asia-based clients which is 2X more than comparable US teams’ client relationships in Asia• Orchestrated industry-wide market research in biotech/AI, convincing upper-management to establish our team as the first team in the bank’s history to cover biotech/AI, leading to the bank securing an IPO deal with a new AI healthcare company• Presented statistical evidence through financial modelling and drove the main thesis driver of two “out-of-consensus” short stock calls that generated more than 50% return for our clients within 12mo and increased client approval ratings by 25%• Spearheaded production of an easily digestible monthly biotech industry report series by quantifying reader attention using cursor-tracking heatmap data which ultimately increased readership by 400%• Designed from scratch a complete onboarding playbook and training materials for new employees which decreased both training time and cost by 50% across the entire biotech equity research department
