Successfully ran the publishing division and managed the full time art and photo department staff. Established and executed a competitive redesign and new graphic brand identity for all monthly publications which were then featured in national ad campaigns.Responsibilities included producing sixteen major publications per year all on time and within budgetary and company guidelines.Created templates and style guides for international editions and global brand identity. Negotiated and successfully maintained annual budgets for the both the art and photo departments.Commissioned and managed between four and fifteen freelance illustrators and photographers per issue.Coordinated and supervised all aspects of studio and location photo shoots including post-production and quality control of all images from concept to print.Direction of the pre-press department regarding all retouching, color correction and press preparation insuring quality control.Liaison between editorial, production, marketing, and advertising department heads.
