Assistant Manager
CurrentAssist in the running of the store on a daily basis by creating & ensuring tasks for staff are fulfilled & managing in the absence of the manager, conducting health & safety assessments, assisting with new staff interviews, induction & training. Providing on going advice & assistance to staff when required, dealing with staffing & HR requirements as they arise. Liaising with senior managers with regard to future planning of the store, while still providing professional advice, information and assistance to Trade and Retail Customers for all their building and DIY projects. Processing account and cash customers via P.O.S. Completing stock and special orders as required. Handling customer enquiries by phone.
