John began his Events career for the New York office of Staging Techniques, who provided audio-visual equipment and production support for Fortune 500 companies. He began his tenure working in their warehouse, but his talents and personable methods soon found him promoted from shop hand to on-site technician (including a stint as an in-demand video wall programmer) to a company wide Production Manager/Technical Director to eventually becoming the General Manager of their Seattle office; consequently overseeing the largest company account, Microsoft. Through these years, John worked with many diverse clients, on events both here and abroad: Microsoft, Intel, American Express, Apple, IBM, Merck, Oracle as well as well known shows such as the CES Keynotes, Apple Developer's Conference, Comdex Spring/Fall Keynotes and DEMO to name a few. John left Staging Techniques in 1999 and formed The Trillium Creations Inc., a production support company dedicated to providing production support solutions to a variety of clientele. Among their clients are Dow Jones & Co., Ketchum Public Relations, Intel, Google, Kodak, BMC, Superior Communications, Reed Exhibitions, Johnson & Johnson, RealNetworks and Philips Electronics to name a few.John is currently servicing clients through his own production management company, Melabran Productions.
