Having worked in the Security Sector for the best part of 20 years I have aquired a plethera of skills and knowledge. Initially starting in the licenced trade my career has seen me spend time in a number of countries throughout Europe. During this time I have operated as a standard security officer as well as a close protection officer for a number of high and low profile clients.I have a vast experience and skill sets in the management of small to large teams of people/operatives from a variety of backgrounds and persuasions which I have utilised for a number of specific operations and functions both in the Public or Private Sectors.I initially started delivering training in Security Qualifications some 8 years ago and since then have gained a number of qualifications in the following: Conflict Management, Physical Intervention, TAQA (Assessing of Vocational Qualifications), IAG (Information, Advice & Guidence) etc. I also deliver a range of other qualifications associated with First Aid, Health & Safety & Infection Control to name but a few. I have been delivering to the Unemployed, Public and Private Sectors as well as Local Authorities and Corporate departments for the last 3-4 years.. I am now one of three directors of Abacus Training Group which specialises in delivering a number of different types of training ranging from Standard Level 1 Health & Safety, Level 2 Security Qualifcations right up to Level 7 Management Qualifications. I also give consultancy to a number of clients on the subjects of licencing, Conflict Management/Resolution, Team Leading and elements of Criminal Law relevant to those operating in security related roles. My objective now is to impart as much knowledge as I can through the delivery of high quality training and consultancy to those that can make the best use of it in order to better both themselves and the businesses they run.
