John Fineran has been in the technology industry for more than 26 years. His tech career began with a business Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Silver Spring, Maryland. As the Executive Vice President of Operations & Sales, he oversaw the construction of a state-of-the-art, tier two data center. He designed and sold service packages for connectivity, hosting, and security. After helping hundreds of organizations with their telecommunication needs, John realized there was a better way to help companies navigate the Internet. John Fineran started FinTel Communications to improve the experience business owners had with technology firms. FinTel Communications provides website design and hosting services that solve immediate technology needs for both associations and companies. FinTel Communications has provided services to clients throughout the United States from startups to Fortune 500 companies. FinTel Communications has grown over the past 13 years into a strong web design and website hosting firm, providing proven services to corporate clients all over the United States.Active in the local community, John believes strongly that volunteer work is an important part of one’s personal and professional life. Volunteering is a strong opportunity to meet personal and professional like-minded people that will expand my network of contacts. John Fineran is a board member for The First Tee Montgomery County, which provides life lessons for children through the game of golf. Additionally, John was a member of the Board of Governors of the Tower Club in Tysons Corner, Virginia. John is active alum of the University of Maryland and served as the President of the Alumni Association Network for Montgomery County, Maryland for 20 years, hosting many events for Alumni in Montgomery County over the years. John is currently on the Board of Directors for the Terrapin Club, helping grow the Membership to support our student athlete scholarship fundraising.
