At the start of my tenure, Le Duff America operated or franchised 200 locations and annual sales were in excess of $350M.Accomplishments at Le Duff America included:• Engineered the sale of the Mimi’s Café brand ($150M annual sales and 76 locations) to a strategic buyer, without the benefit of a sell-side M&A advisor. Located the buyer via “cold calling” and was a key member of the team that negotiated the sale agreement and continuing services agreement, populated an online data room, responded to diligence requests, and closed the deal. • Rolled out a cost of sales and labor management platform to all locations (CrunchTime!)• Redesigned the FP&A reporting regimen, both for US-based constituencies and the parent company in Rennes, France• Extracted Le Duff America from several non-performing joint ventures• Negotiated and executed an outsourcing agreement and coordinated the outsourcing of accounting functions• Sponsored the redesign of the IT infrastructure, between on-site servers, colocation, and the cloud (Microsoft Azure) to be most cost-efficient and improve data security• Obtained $7M of PPP loan funds
