My roles have been in the data, analytics, operational finance, supply chain, loyalty, mobile ordering, CRM, offers / rewards and the payments / stored value areas. At Starbucks I created then grew the data science team before the term existed there. Our marketing innovation team managed the just created Starbucks Card and during my tenure we created multiple iterations of the Starbucks Loyalty Program and the first mobile payment application which grew into "the Starbucks App". I left with a few team members to join a small startup building proprietary mobile ordering, payment and loyalty platforms for customers such as Dunkin, Taco Bell, Sonic and other large retailers. In 2018 I began advising an Italian fintech company called Look Lateral with deep roots in the art world as we focused on democratizing the art market by leveraging the transparency and decentralization of the blockchain to enable primary and secondary market trading exchanges for illiquid assets. After working almost 4 years on regulatory issues, B2B partnerships and platform design we listed our first artwork (a Boetti located in the Tornabuoni Gallery in Florence) in January of 2023 on our Switzerland registered exchange and sold all the fractional ownership tokens in a couple weeks. October 2023 we added a Lucio Fontana artwork, an art car Rolls Royce decorated by Bankeri and a top dressage horse name Escapado to the asset token portfolio.Investor-advisors include an ex-BlackRock chairman, inventor of the fixed asset VIX algorithm, ceo of the Toronto Stock Exchange. Look Lateral is raising Series B capital now.
