I am a senior Finance and Business manager with a successful 20 years track record. I combine business acumen, financial management, leadership, strategic planning and operations capability which I have gained within a range of industries including; security, not-for-profit, education and more recently media. My early career included a period working in the hospitality industry, where I developed my ability to relate, engage and manage people at all levels. I have an open management style and lead by example, focusing on helping create a positive and can do culture within the organisation. I have managed teams of up to 7 staff.As someone who is motivated by the bigger organisation challenges and opportunities, I step up to question the norm and push the boundaries, successfully adding value to all the business environments I have worked within. This value add includes; cost saving strategies, identifying new revenue opportunities, successful project management and change management programs to support company re-organisation and closure. I believe in taking responsibility for my own continuous development and have pursued an academic route in line with my changing roles. I am currently completing an MBA that is allowing me to engage, share and learn with fellow senior managers.
